Allison RMT
Allison joins us at BodyBalance as a graduate of the Grant MacEwen Massage Therapy program with 2200 hours and is a member of the Massage Therapists Association of Alberta. She enjoys providing Deep Tissue, Therapeutic, relaxation and maternity to massage to her clients at BodyBalance.
As a rock climbing enthusiast, she is an accomplished climber as a Level 3 indoor instructor and team leader at Vertically Inclined Rock Gem for over 3 years.
Erin RMT
Erin is a long time practitioner at BodyBalance. She is a Registered Massage Therapist having graduated from the Grant MacEwen program with 2200 hours. She is trained in Facial Reflexology and practices Deep Tissue, Therapeutic, Relaxation as well as Maternity massage. When not at the clinic, her interests include traveling as well as Latin Dancing.
She is a member of the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada.
Megan RMT
Megan is a Registered Massage Therapist who has developed an expertise in deep tissue, therapeutic, relaxation and maternity massage techniques. She became interested in massage therapy as a natural evolution from her background in sports –particularly as a competitive swimmer for over 16 years. She continues to develop her practice and is pursuing courses in energy work modalities.
Megan has a deep passion for animals both in rescuing and in educating others in these issues. She will also be taking courses in animal massage in the near future.
Myriam Van Diest RMT
Having graduated from the Massage Therapy program from Grant MacEwen Myriam has an established clientele here at BodyBalance. She specializes in Deep Tissue, Sports Massage and Acupressure techniques.
She is trained in the use of kinesio taping and 3 levels of Cranio Sacral therapy as well as face reflexology. When not at the clinic, she brings her over 27 years of experience as a Cosmetitian for the Cliique line of cosmetics.
Myriam is deeply interested in natural health and fitness as she trains for between 2 and 3 marathons and 2 triathlons each year. She recently completed the May 2010 marathon in Victoria Australia.
She also continues to volunteer for the “Look Good Feel Better” program at the Cross Cancer Institute since 1995.
Paul Cramer RMT
Paul is a Registered Massage Therapist with 2200 hours training in Alberta. He is an advanced level Thai Massage Therapist having received his certification at the Lotus Palm school where he was a Senior Teacher and practitioner before moving to Edmonton.
Paul is also a Registered Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist. He works with individuals from all walks of life to help improve mobility, flexibility and strength. Paul has a deep interest in Ayurvedic and Buddhist Medicine and integrates this into his practice. One of the principles that guides his work is the knowledge that health and well being stem from leading a balanced life which includes bodywork on a regular basis as well as healthy eating, exercise, rest and fun. Each of Paul’s sessions takes into consideration every client’s unique needs and requirements as he caters the massage to address areas of stress, tension and imbalances that arise from daily living.
