COVID SAFEY PROTOCOLS
WILL CONTINUE AS OUTLINED BELOW FOR THE TIME BEING AS WE REGULARILY PERFORM RISK ASSESSMENTS FOR STAFF AND CLIENTS. WE FOLLOW COVID STATS AND NEW INFORMATION DAILY.  At Body Balance, we are committed to the safety of our clients and staff and their contacts.

We adhere to guidelines established by the Massage Therapist Association of Alberta (MTAA) and Alberta Health Services (AHS).  Currently MTAA has stated

"Therapists must continue to follow the guidelines outlined in their association’s Standards of Practice document when treating clients.

All municipal bylaws supersede these directives. We ask that you continue to follow your local bylaws if restrictions in your area remain in effect.

We are also aware that some massage therapists are uncomfortable with the lifting of restrictions at this time. We continue to encourage you to do a risk assessment for your practice, and only provide treatments in a manner that you are comfortable with."

Body Balance Therapy will be following the Covid protocol that we have in place for the time being but we will revisit our business risk assessment frequently.  For now our health and the health of client's remains a priority.

All staff at Body Balance have been fully vaccinated and are properly masked during the entire therapy session.  We ask the same of clients.

Although the Alberta Govenment's "Restrictions Exemption Program" (vaccination certificate or vaccination passport) has ended, Body Balance Therapy kindly requests, for the time being, that our clients and staff continue to provide Body Balance with their proof of vaccination along with an official piece of ID (such as a driver's license) upon their first visit (new clients) or next visit (regular clients).

We make accommodations for use of negative rapid test results within 72 hours of service or documentation of a medical exemption for the vaccine but, before booking, please contact Sandra Strangman by phone at 780-455-1764 or email her at info@bodybalancetherapy.ca

Cancellations due to suspicion of exposure to, or symptoms of, COVID-19 will not be charged a cancellation fee.

These above restrictions are currently still in effective  and are subject to change as we continue to assess the risk and comfort of Body Balance Therapy clients and therapists.
